What is the difference between Full Spectrum and Broad Spectrum?
Full Spectrum CBD contains CBD as well as numerous other cannabinoid compounds from the cannabis plant such as terpenes, flavonoids, and other cannabinoids (whole-plant extract). This means that it also has a trace amount of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). In the EU, all products will always have 0.2% THC or less.
Research points to the existence of the “entourage effect” which implies that when multiple cannabis plant components are present along with CBD, this increases the health benefits of the CBD.
Broad Spectrum CBD also contains additional compounds from the cannabis plant such as terpenes. Most broad spectrum CBDs do not contain THC. It is more suitable for people who wish to avoid THC completely.
What is CBD exactly?
CBD (Cannabidiol) is one of the 113 identified cannabinoids found in the cannabis plants. Along with THC, it is the most abundant cannabinoid found. It is known for its interaction with the Endocannabinoid System when ingested. CBD is found in clinical studies related to pain, anxiety, spasticity, menstruation pain and more!
What is the endocannabinoid system?
The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is a complex cell signaling network, which involves a combination of endocannabinoids, enzymes, and cannabinoid receptors. Research suggests the ECS helps regulate and balance key bodily functions such as appetite, sleep, pain sensation, inflammation, mood, metabolism and more.
Can CBD get you high?
No, CBD is a non-intoxicating substance.
What is the difference between Hemp Extract and Hemp Seed Oil?
Hemp Extract is derived from the flowers, leaves and buds of the cannabis plant and thus contains levels of cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids.
Hemp Seed Oil is made by pressing hemp seeds to extract oil and thus does not contain cannabinoids.

What is the extraction method used in production?
We work with state-of-the–art equipment for cannabis extraction and isolation methods.
The CO2 extraction method we use guarantees the preservation of all the active plant ingredients.The gentle CO2 extraction is done in-house, just a few steps from the field. The extraction is performed without any heat and organic solvents to avoid the destruction and contamination of valuable cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids.
For THC separation, we use flash chromatography.
Is an import needed?
In general, no import is necessary for our partners. Our products are based in our logistics center in Germany and therefore do not need import procedures. We also have a logistics center in CH for our Swiss partners.
Are all products Bio certified?
Our production is organically certified by „Bio Suisse“ regulations. It is the highest and strictest standard for Swiss organic agriculture. The manufacturing process is free from any chemicals, pesticides and herbicides. Additionally, all products have “Swiss Made” certification.

What are the delivery times for ALPINOLS?
Our delivery times for ALPINOLS are roughly one week.
Are all products produced for the EU (0.2% THC or less)?
Yes. We guarantee our products comply with EU regulations. We do internal and external lab testing and all orders are provided with a lab analysis linked to the batch number.

What is the difference between Private Label and White Label?
The difference between private and white labels is defined by who specifies what the product or service contains.
In our private label relationship, we work with you to produce the desired product by defining the product characteristics, components, ingredients, packaging and label.
In a white label relationship, we offer you a broad range of products for you to sell under your unique brand packaging design.
What carrier oils are available?
For White Label products typically MCT (from certified organic coconut), sunflower oil, or hemp seed oil is available. For private labels we offer all oils suitable for dilution. All oils are organically sourced.
Can packaging services be provided?
Yes, we offer premium quality and standard quality packing services in CH and the EU. Please contact us for more information.
Is it possible to make special formulations with excipients suggested by the customer?
Yes! We have an extensive offering of food supplements and natural extracts at your disposal. Please contact us for more information.
What bottle sizes do we offer? How does this translate into CBD content? How much CBD is in one drop of oil?
We offer 10 mL and 30 mL bottles. A 10 mL bottle contains around 200 drops of CBD oil. Please consult the table for information on CBD content

Are the cosmetic formulations listed in the CPNP?
The European Commision requires that all cosmetic products on the European market be noted in the CPNP (Cosmetic Products Notification Portal). Hence, our products are also listed in the CPNP.
How does the Endocannabinoid System support skin function?
The skin contains cannabinoid receptors, cannabinoid synthesis and degradation enzymes.
Studies suggest that the endocannabinoid system can affect functions in different parts of the skin such as the Epidermis (skin protection and appearance), Sensory Nerves, Immune Cells, Hair Follicles (hair loss, hair growth, hair maintenance), and Sweat Glands.
Why is Hyaluronic acid used in the beauty industry?
Hyaluronic acid is a in the skin, eyes and joints naturally occuring sugar. The main function of hyaluronic acid is to provide moisture to these areas of the body. What is jojoba oil used for?
Jojoba oil is obtained from the seeds of the jojoba bush, in which the ripe seeds are pressed.
It contains gadoleic acid, erucic acid, oleic acid, nerve acid and palmitic acid, as well as high concentrations of provitamin A (beta carotene), vitamin B6 and vitamin E.
Beta carotene helps to repel bacteria and stay beautiful and healthy.
Vitamin E promotes collagen formation and thus ensures firm skin. It has antioxidant properties.
Vitamin B6 balances the sebum flow of the skin.

What are the benefits of Aloe Vera gel for the skin?
Aloe vera is derived from the aloe species of plants. Aloe leaves contain water filled tissue or a “gel”. The gel contains most of the bioactive compounds in the plant, including vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants.
Aloe vera contains powerful antioxidants, and additionally has antibacterial, antiviral, and antiseptic properties.
Why does oxidative stress occur?
Oxidative stress occurs when there is an imbalance between free radicals and antioxidants in the body. Our cells produce free radicals during normal metabolic processes. Our cells also produce antioxidants which neutralize the free radicals.
Several factors such as diet, lifestyle, and environmental factors such as sun exposure, pollution and radiation contribute to excess free radical production. Long-term Oxidative stress can accelerate the aging process and cause inflammation by damaging the body’s cells, proteins and DNA.
What are antioxidants and free radicals?
Free radicals are molecules with one or more unpaired electrons and are thus reactive. They are created during biochemical processes in the body but also arise from external substances such as cigarette smoke, pesticides, and ozone.
Antioxidants neutralize or remove free radicals through donation of an electron. Cells naturally produce antioxidants, or they can be found in external sources such as Vitamin A, C and E, which is found in select fruits and vegetables.
